FOUND SOUNDS is one of the ten classic listening games from my Listen With Lynn’s Grinning From Ear to Ear resource.

1. Dogs bark, birds tweet, geese honk, sirens wail, bees buzz, balls bounce and the wind whispers.

2. Point out that sounds at a distance are quiet and become louder when closer.

3. Focus on sound localization skills. Begin by first, asking the child WHAT they hear. Then talk about WHERE the sound is coming from.
