I was invited to speak at the Cochlear Community Chapter Event in Huntley, Illinois, on Auditory Rehabilitation in November. I shared the ins and outs of auditory rehab and tips to become the boss of your hearing loss. Based on all the comments and questions I received it was well received. I met an Audiology AuD doctoral student who was fascinated and said she learned more about auditory rehab that she has up to this point in school. She attended the meeting with her father who is pursuing cochlear implantation.
